Spring Greetings! This is a wonderful time to re-evaluate your goals, check-in with yourself, and let go of what isn’t working. We’re in the final month of the first quarter of 2006. How are you doing so far? What would support you in the weeks to come?

Book of the Month:
Eat that Frog by Brian Tracy

Powerful Questions of the Month:
What areas of my life could use a little spring cleaning? What’s one step I can take towards improvement in each of these areas?

You might want to write these questions on an index card or two. Keep the cards by your bed so you can start and end each day with this framework. Put cards in other “happy reminder places” such as; on the refrigerator, in your wallet or purse, taped to the steering wheel of your car, on the front door, and on your bathroom mirror. See if you can take one step each day towards cleaning up your life.

Quote of the Month:
I am only one, but I AM ONE…
I cannot do everything, but I can do something.
And what I can do, that I ought to do:
And what I ought to do,
By the grace of God, I will do.

I will do more than belong~I will participate.
I will do more than care~I will help.
I will do more than believe~I will practice.
I will do more than be fair~I will be kind.
I will do more than dream~I will work.
I will do more than teach~I will inspire.
I will do more than give~I will serve.
I will do more than live~I will grow.
I will do more than talk~I will act.

Challenge of the Month:
Every day this month, do the most important thing you need to do that day first! This is from the Eat that Frog book. Each week you can set new goals. At night you can evaluate and plan for the next day. If you do this one thing each day, you’ll not only be moving towards accomplishing your goals; you’ll also be creating a new habit to increase your productivity and/or follow-through. Give yourself permission to use this challenge in a way that serves you. You may want to commit to the same thing each morning such as a meditation, exercise, or personal hygiene routine. You might want to work for a certain amount of time each day on a specific project for work, home improvement, or a hobby. You choose what is most important to you for this month, for a week, or for that specific day.
